So Ed, by the tone of your message, it seems you are short this stock and waiting til it hits $12. Otherwise, I don't why you would "see us there." Maybe you just enjoy watching this stock and posting on the message board occasionally.
Now, any rational investor would realize that at $12/share, common stockholders would receive over a 14% dividend yield. That's pretty good, especially with interest rates so low. So now you could argue that Realty Income will slash it's dividend. Let's say they decide to cut it by 50%. But let's think about that for a second. Why would they cut the dividend 50%. Oh that's right. You think that half of all the Taco Bell's, Pizza Hut's, and other national retail chains with long-term NNN leases on O's properties are about to go into bankruptcy and default on their leases in the next year. I guess anything's possible.
$30 isn't a phony quote. You're just a phony who says it is. Some people did get it and a lot more. Timing is everything. Some shorts wanted to cover right away at any price. Maybe you were one of them.
