In the q1 conference call, they guessed that the IP for Rocky would be around 663 BOE per day. So I thought it would be around 300, given their track record. But this time they were on target for a change. Ruellia
The announcement just came out and the initial rocky rates look pretty good. It looks like some just got a little too pessimistic about the well. Lets see how well production from the well holds up for the next six months
You realize IP rates are for Headlines. And Rocky is working well.
Am glad to see a respectably small choke size, for the long run 8/64" would be better once cleaned up.
As you suggested let's renew this thread if we have data in 3 and then 6 mos, OK?
Great news as the well adds approximately $4.25 - $4.50 million of revenue per quarter assuming oil sales at $100 per barrel. It's a 30% addition to oil production versus the first half of the year. With Main Pass returning to normal operation and Grand Bay production issues being resolved, they could be producing at another 500 bopd from those improvements vs the first half of 2013.
Next on deck is Zeke. What are people generally expecting from Zeke in terms of an IP rate?
V-- Looking for a quick trade, huh, asking about the IP? IP's mean nothing in the longer run. SARA has to increase cash flow for several back to back Qtrs or will go under rather soon.
Oh, the 4-way closure does exist DS, but in a very gentle way, and I realize the contour interval is only 10'. The original column is about 49' max. No knowing what the present figure is. Hope the hole stayed within the upper ratty stringers as they may be separated from the thick sand and water table. One would have to study stratigraphic cross sections with perforated zones/production figures posted and sand isopach (individual net sand thickness) maps to really get a feeling for what is going on along the Rocky and Zeke well laterals to reduce the risk factor. I am sure there are several separate reservoirs within the 5800' sand in the area shown on the map.
The Zeke well is a prayer, will never payout.
