The serial spammers have obviously infected Yahoo employees and management like a virus. This infection is at all levels of the organization.
These spammers could not get their multiple user accounts and user names without the incompetence or cooperation of many Yahoo employees.
Any email about spam to Yahoo, no matter where sent -- even to the corporate secretary -- ends up at customer service sink hole that sends out a useless form letter but does nothing about the spam. So the word seems to have gone out at all levels to "look the other way" regarding this spam.
The theft of service, theft of advertising space, possible click fraud and general incompetence and corruption that this spammer has brought to Yahoo is far beyond the internal capability of Yahoo to end on its own.
It is now up to PriceWaterhouseCoopers, the firm's outside public auditor, to flag spam as a material issue in its audit and management report, and to force management to clean up their act and deal with it.
Anyone having a high level relationship with PWC is encouraged to pass on this message.
Right on and we got to keep up the protests on this board. This is one board Yahoo employers read. I would be totally embarassed to work for Yahoo and see how they do nothing about the spam viruses at a time identity theft is at the forefront of media attention.
