The 2 Million shares after hours are not material. Sub 30,000 shares has driven this equity up over $1.00 such as at close Friday.
2 Million on the open marekt would have blown this one to the moon.
AFterhours, however is often used for institutional investors to trade shares directly. They often do this at very odd pricing after hours when an equity moves fast during the day. It's mostly accounting.
In the case of 2 Million shares, this is most likely shifting the assets from one institutional investor to another directly, or even on paper from one fund to another. That an institution has 2 Million shares is nice. The movement of them after hours however is immaterial and any unusal pricing on any equity after hours should be looked at as a possible off books transaction. Good luck.
