    A company's greatest asset is their employees and this company continues to beat them down. SDC will learn a very expensive lesson soon. Short... to the end

    I worked at SDC full-time for more than 3 years
    Pros – Benefits which will be over in 2015 - that's IT.
    Cons – MGT by edict and email - soulless outfit that will avoid straight up communication at all costs.
    This company is borderline criminal intent the way it baits and switch and sales thru fear and intimidation with elderly and uninformed clients. SHAME ON YOU !!
    This is a customer service/sales call center job - NOT a technical position. The "training" is a very poor joke (use Google) is trainers approach to MAC support. The lawyers are the HR dept here, because previous HR was so low skilled they could not do the HR job correctly and law suits were on the upswing. "Churn" is the employment strategy for SDC, and churn they do. Days are filled with victims of bait/switch sales tactics by Comcast and SDC being told that they have been scammed and sent to SDC for an upsell by non sales trained employees. Tools and utilities that are in a constant state of broken. Policy and service documentation that knows no start or end point. Policies that no supervisor can explain or describe or verify. MGT that is so out of touch with the minions it oversees that company emails are often missed by the work from home employees due to mgt not knowing to include them on a global list. NO RAISES. The local dine in theatre pays more for the wait staff, as well as the local truck stop for its clerical counter staff. This place is either a first stop in the job market or the last....but DEFINITELY NOT a place to even think of a career. This company has NO values...NO culture...NO vision or mission.
    Advice to Senior Management – A waste of breath on deaf ears..........................

    • OK, I was looking for a new investment and this tells me a lot. Of course everything is someone's opinion, but this sounds like such a horrible dysfunctional situation I'd be more interested in shutting this thing down. Cable companies and their ilk are among the top scourges of the country anyway.
