I dont think enrollment figures matter toomuch.MAMSI is following a strategy of actuarial soundness and quality care. With regard to the first its dropped medicare/medicaid. THere was a local news story about a small village dropping MAMSI coverage because rates were up 50%. If small groups aren't profitable they wont write policies. THey are trying to market themselves as high quality relative to their peers. In todays tight job market employers will pay an additional premium to keep employees happy. The risk is if the market drop effects the economy and the labor market gets softer employers will want to cut cost. If the regional economy stays strong we have a good thing going.
