Red alert Sarah Palin, in his upcoming Rolling Stone interview, Canadian Justin Bieber came out in support of death panels, “We go to the doctor and we don’t need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you’re broke because of medical bills.” According to the right, this makes Justin Bieber part of the new red menace.
Bieber told Rolling Stone that he would never become a US citizen because of our healthcare system. He joked, “You guys are evil.” He added, “Canada’s the best country in the world.” He adds, “We go to the doctor and we don’t need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you’re broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard’s baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby’s premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home.”
Justin Bieber, who is just a kid, understands the moral and societal value of universal healthcare more than Sarah Palin and the Tea Party. In Palin speak by promoting the benefits of universal healthcare, Bieber is supporting death panels. It is irrelevant that his comment is stressing the value of people being able to see a doctor, or go to the hospital without going broke. To the far right, Bieber is a no good Canadian socialist for holding the radical belief that everyone should have access to medical care.
