Serious consideration of US economic problems..

Check this article and read between the lines. If you have some above average reasoning ability you can get 90% of the issue right here.

The Obama bashers of course disagree but then they are nearly sub human in their reasoning capabilities.

Understand requires backing , backing, backing up until the BIG picture crystallizes. You may not like it but the truth never causes long term harm.

I absolutely LOVE Idiots like You. Everyone on the Planet is Stupid, Has Sub Human Reasoning Capabilities, Is a Lame, or an outright Mental Defective EXCEPT YOU. The World and all of its Misinformed Ignorant People would be so much better off if only we could see through your eyes, Then we would finally Be Enlightened. LOL

    • Why don't you tell us what the right issues are?

      • Currency imbalances..

As well as the hangover effects of globalization which have created the situation where American tradesman and technical people lost their wages and jobs as the economy globalized.

All you have to do is imagine that transportation costs go to zero both for materials and intellectual property to see that living standards are going to equalize, that is after the currency battles are fought.

But you asked about the issues.

1 Tax the rich to support education.

2 Revamp education at the preschool through vocational level.
3 Tax fossil fuels to start the process of weaning.
4 Massive election finance reform to get the money out of politics, this will be hard to do while preserving freedom but something is better than where we are now.

5 No company will be allowed to get large enough to pose a cascading threat to the US economy if it fails. At this limit companies have to divide in a competitive fashion.

6 Prison made for violent offenders only and the rest get house incarceration as long as they comply.

7 No subsidies for any private interests, we are past the point where individual industries need support to thrive.

8 And yes a progressive FLAT tax with no exemptions.

9 Mandatory teaching of consumer finance to every junior high school student.

10 Mandatory teaching of 'consumer capitalism' to every junior high school student where they learn the nitty gritty of how advertising and promotion of the consumer society begin.

twenty more but my fingurs are tired.

That’s because nothing like Foxconn City exists in the United States.

The facility has 230,000 employees, many working six days a week, often spending up to 12 hours a day at the plant. Over a quarter of Foxconn’s work force lives in company barracks and many workers earn less than $17 a day. When one Apple executive arrived during a shift change, his car was stuck in a river of employees streaming past. “The scale is unimaginable,” he said.

Americans will not work in a concentration camp for $1.25/hour.

But niether will Europeans, Russians, Japanese, nor any other developed nation's workforce.

AAPL is not the only exploiter of cheap out-sourced labor. SONY closed its last plant in the USA in 2008. Their flatscreens are now made in Mexico. Nearly all consumer electronics are made off-shore with cheap exploited labor.

I don't buy Apple products. I keep my person al electronics to a minimum.
