Ambassador Stevens, former SEALS died to support an Obama re-election illusion

They asked for more security and were denied because Obama wanted to convey his policy as working and Libya more friendly than the reality.

Whereas I don't think such failures should generally be politicized, this one particularly bothers me, and there is no better example of the consequences when one is so ego-centered and unable to acknowledge that something isn't working.

    • Women Review Debate 3, Governor Mitt Romney Pasted The Test, Ready to Lead USA
      By USA_Jewish_Women 10 22 2012

Debate 3: Women's Review: President Obama Was Arrogant, Disrespectfully Angry Condescending to Governor Mitt Romney on Oct 22, 2012.

Mitt Romney's Stunning turnaround in these past 3 debates

Obama has lost support among Jewish women voters.

Most Jews are Turn Against Obama across the 50 states,

A Jewish Women Focus Group of 7,890 on October 22, 2012

President Obama Was arrogant, angry, disrespectfully, condescending and much to aggressive, did not look very presidential at all.

Governor Mitt Romney looked much more presidential, ready to be commander-in-chief. America he said, needs a strong economy in order to have a strong military for our National Security now and in the future.

We came away from this debate with a very good impression of Mitt Romney, in that he would be a “ a safe pair of hands.”

We feel he’s tough enough to do what’s necessary, but laid-back enough not to do too much and get us into another war. Romney did not attack President Obama's policies, he simply pointed out a few improvements in a respectable way.

During the debate Governor Mitt Romney seemed more like the president and Barack Obama more like the candidate and challenger.

Governor Mitt Romney was calm, thoughtful, relaxed, steady and looked very presidential. He looked and acted ready to take the job as commander-in-chief. Expressed his views on Iran's Nuclear threat and the USA support of Israel, our good friend and ally.

He impressed us tonight, in that a vote for him is a vote for American security, peace and safety, a strong economy, a strong military, millions of higher paying jobs, prosperity and quiet peaceful life for us and our families.

The world is much to scary these days; Americans aren’t looking for a scary weak president.

Tonight we came away with the feeling that President Obama is more the scary one, in America's weaken relationship with Israel, a closer to Nuclear Iran, our weak economy and the huge 16 Trillion Dollars in Debt, that in itself Threatens our National Security.

We can not afford four more years of president Obama's spending and borrowing another 5 or 6 trillion dollars from countries like China. Our jewish women's focus group therefore endorse Governor Mitt Romney for the next president of the United States of America.

Obama's Re-Election is very questionable. Vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan

hawfaeces the Libya thing is of little importance except to crook RWNJs trying to make an issue out of a non issue- Representative ISSA is guilty of sedition and treason for violating national security rules on intelligence. Most Republican crooks are so crooked they would join ISSA never mind that they broke the law just to get rid of Obama. Time was hawfaeces when you would have gotten to swing from a rope for your abetting of the Republican representative crimes -

    • Obama Caught Telling Russian Leader To Wait Until After Election On Missile Defense
      By obama_whisper_russia . Oct 22, 2012 12:36 PM

Can we Trust President Barack Obama as Commander and Chief? Here is a fact, Bill Plante of CBS News reports on Obama telling Russian President Medvedev that he will work on the missile defense system with Russia after the election (March 26, 2012). ( Obama failed to turn off his microphone and this Russian message was picked up ) Lied about 911 Libya Attack -

No Barack Obama Trust a Huge Problem in his Campaign Going Forward - No More people saying!

One latest poll shows that many young men, women and Veterans do not trust President Barack Obama any longer. Mitt Romney today has an overwhelming support of married women with children and many young women, young men and Veterans of all ages are switching to support Mitt Romney for President of the United States of America.

Tonight, the two candidates will share a stage for the last time. The race could not be closer: On Sunday, a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll indicated that the candidates tied, each with 47 percent of likely voters. Before the debates began, Obama led the same poll by 3points.

In this debate, Obama could face the opposite of the situation many envisioned weeks before. Instead of lending him credibility, his commander-in-chief role could make him more vulnerable, opening Obama to questions about a range of unresolved crises.

Romney is likely to renew criticism of the Obama administration’s reaction to a Sept. 11 attack that killed four Americans at a mission in Benghazi, Libya. And Obama is also likely to face questions about the civil war in Syria, a recent assassination in Lebanon and possible signals that Iran may be willing to bargain over the future of its nuclear program.

A White House official on Saturday denied a New York Times report that said the United States and Iran had agreed in principle to hold one-on-one talks about that program. The report said Iran wanted to wait until after the election for talks to begin.

“It’s not true that the United States and Iran have agreed to one-on-one talks or any meeting after the American elections,” White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said in a written statement. The Reuters news service reported that Iran also had denied the report.

Foreign-policy questions played a significant role in the last presidential debate, held last Tuesday in Long Island, N.Y. Romney was caught flat-footed with an overly broad statement that Obama had taken two weeks to label the attack in Benghazi an “act of terror.”

Romney was corrected by moderator Candy Crowley: Although Obama did not directly call the attack terrorism the next day, he did say that the U.S. will not retreat from “acts of terror.”

Since then, Romney has said little about Libya on the campaign trail. Advisers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal-campaign thinking, said Romney deliberately turned his focus away from Libya and toward the domestic economy and gas prices following the last debate.

His arguments on those issues had polled well among viewers last week, the advisers said. But
Libya is almost certain to come up again tonight.

the statement that Obama is collaborating with Russia on missle defence to aid in his election is a lie pure and simple. Its the only thing you can expect out of criminal right wingers and republicans. What is needed is strict prosecution of these criminals for their lies and criminal lible. Time was when this was called treason and the propagators of those lies would pay on the gallows

    • Jack Welch: I Was Right About That Strange Jobs Report
The economy would need to be growing at breakneck speed for unemployment to drop to 7.8% from 8.3% in the course of two months.

Imagine a country where challenging the ruling authorities—questioning, say, a piece of data released by central headquarters—would result in mobs of administration sympathizers claiming you should feel "embarrassed" and labeling you a fool, or worse.

Soviet Russia perhaps? Communist China? Nope, that would be the United States right now, when a person (like me, for instance) suggests that a certain government datum (like the September unemployment rate of 7.8%) doesn't make sense.

Unfortunately for those who would like me to pipe down, the 7.8% unemployment figure released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) last week is downright implausible. And that's why I made a stink about it.

Before I explain why the number is questionable, though, a few words about where I'm coming from. Contrary to some of the sound-and-fury last week, I do not work for the Mitt Romney campaign. I am definitely not a surrogate. My wife, Suzy, is not associated with the campaign, either. She worked at Bain Consulting (not Bain Capital) right after business school, in 1988 and 1989, and had no contact with Mr. Romney.

The Obama campaign and its supporters, including bigwigs like David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs, along with several cable TV anchors, would like you to believe that BLS data are handled like the gold in Fort Knox, with gun-carrying guards watching their every move, and highly trained, white-gloved super-agents counting and recounting hourly.

Let's get real. The unemployment data reported each month are gathered over a one-week period by census workers, by phone in 70% of the cases, and the rest through home visits. In sum, they try to contact 60,000 households, asking a list of questions and recording the responses.

Some questions allow for unambiguous answers, but others less so. For instance, the range for part-time work falls between one hour and 34 hours a week. So, if an out-of-work accountant tells a census worker, "I got one baby-sitting job this week just to cover my kid's bus fare, but I haven't been able to find anything else," that could be recorded as being employed part-time.

The possibility of subjectivity creeping into the process is so pervasive that the BLS's own "Handbook of Methods" has a full page explaining the limitations of its data, including how non-sampling errors get made, from "misinterpretation of the questions" to "errors made in the estimations of missing data."

Bottom line: To suggest that the input to the BLS data-collection system is precise and bias-free is—well, let's just say, overstated.

IF he had provided more security who would have known?
Would it have become national news ?
Of course not, so the effect would not have even occurred and no damage would have been done to the 'perception' of Libya status.

**** IF he had provided more security who would have known?
**** Would it have become national news ?

Keeping our embassy secure would have been the point to the locals.

Obama also could have withdrawn the people from the embassy, as well as important documents and secrets, to keep them safe until another day.

Basically, what you are saying is that you RECOGNIZE that Obama could have taken action but did not because he WANTED to make an international political point!

And our people were killed because of his treason!

        Sentiment: Strong Sell

      • Exactly, if they had provided more security no one would have known. Those americans would be alive and it would not be news.

    • Fascinating that you can take an issue such as this that was mostly unpredictable and combine it with your ability to read the presidents mind and turn it into political fodder.

How is higher gas prices, "unpredictable" after QEW1, QE2 and QE3?????

How was an attack on our Libyan Embassy "unpredictable" on 9/11/2012? Particularly when the people at the Libyan Embassy requested back up and support because they feared for their lives?

To quote a phrase, "DRAIN THE SWAMP!"
