Twenty-year pause in rising temperatures has climate scientists puzzled
And CFury's favorite magazine as well!
"In a lengthy article this week, The Economist magazine said if climate scientists were credit-rating agencies, then climate sensitivity - the way climate reacts to changes in carbon-dioxide levels - would be on negative watch but not yet downgraded."
While I disagree with the last thought because failure has to lead to a downgrade, and the numbers simply do not support their claims of weighting, at least some on the left are beginning to acknowledge some flawed assumptions in the models.
I will have to check that out. BTW who was the source of the quote???
Real scientists understand the mathematics with the random process that is climate temperature estimation and do not seriously doubt the heat trapping effect of CO2.
After all the Earth would be too cold to support life without the heat trapping from CO2.
