the markets have only one way out

We have now reached a point where fundamentals and long term valuation considerations do not matter any more for financial markets. There is a free fall as most investors are rapidly deleveraging and we are on the verge of a total financial collapse .Markets will be forced to close to stem the brutal panic selling

    • Actually there are two ways out:

      1) Media companies can educate investors on the merits of investing for the long term and trillions of dollars in money market funds can return to the market via investments in mutual funds.

      2) Foreign governments can take this opportunity to buy America on the cheap and pour trillions into American equities… As markets rise 10, 20 and 30 percent the working class will eventually rush to get their dollars back into mutual funds and the market will rise another 20, 30 or 40 percent. The last man in will mark the next time and markets can move sideways again until the next big run.
