    The lasting legacy of feminism

Back in the 60's and 70's women were told they didn't need a man especially a husband to provide for her and urged them to throw the chains of marriage off and be more independent. Here we are 40 years later and marriage is at a all time low, over 50% of all children are born out of wedlock, and women are still dependent on men just not husbands this time they're dependent on the men in DC to the point they can't even afford a $1 condom to keep from getting pregnant and need the government to provide them.
