Coldest start of spring since 1880s, could be the coldest March ever
Another week of frigid weather forecasted!!! Greenhouses are not supposed to get cold like this. This is NOT like any greenhouse I've ever been in. I think the global warmists got their charts upside down. I'd ask them for input but they are all in hiding at this moment.
cde_biscuit: You don't know what cold is. I, many days working outside back in the late 40's early 50's the weather we have today would almost be like Spring. Did you forget that last Spring trees were budding, apple were blossoming, cherry trees were blossoming; this March is a blessing for farmers. You townees have no idea how weather affects Agriculture.
Tell that to my neighbors who are selling cattle because they ran out of hay and can't find hay at any price. Cold springs are not a blessing. The moisture didn't help the drought as most of the ,moisture ran off because the ground is frozen. It only helped city folk who get their water from reservoirs.
I love the cold. I lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Lake Superior for 20 years in the 70s and 80s, I've seen 40 below zero on the thermometer. 0 to minus 10F is no problem I'm icefishing at zero. I used to snowblow in shorts as long as the temperature was above 32F so yeah I know what cold is.
