There are plenty in West Virginia who would take issue with you, they don't want any regulations getting in the way of their coal companies. The Governor said it best, if you want to drink the water or not, it's your call. Now that is what I call individual responsibility.
ROFLMAO, yeah, and all those pensions and massive overspending is why. However, even in California, there is ultimately no such thing as a free lunch. Tic Toc, which will hit the "premier" state first? Will it be the big on, or default? One or the other, or both at the same time? Now, that aging gov "moonbeam" has recognized there is a drought, we can add running out of water as well.
Just in case you haven't heard but most of California's water comes from rain and snow melt from the mountains. When I was in northern CA, which I hated the weather, it usually started raining in Oct and did not stop until April. Rain was called Oregon mist-missed Oregon and hit CA.
EPA I understand has control of this drought. The water is going to save an endangered fish somewhere. Let the humans fend for themselves-save the fish. Just my opinion.
Southern Calif. has semi- arid climate desert like conditions mother nature made it that way.Plants and grasses that are native to Southern California, or are adapted to our semi-arid climate, will flourish with less water.
Inland n. Cali usually has plenty of clear days between the storms, where you can get out and enjoy the outdoors. Fog is usually in the bay and in the Central Valley in January. But the higher elevations are wonderful.
We get just enough winter here to make it nice for a little fire and to produce cherries, apples, and lilacs cone spring. The snow stays in the mountains where it belongs, though we've seen snow where I live a few times.
However, this, season has been all f.cked up....
California gets most of its water from the snow pack in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The snow pack this year was about a quarter of the normal amount. They didn't use up anything. We all depend on nature.
Ugh, some people are a dumb as a sack full of hammers.
