The bid in pre-market this morning is ABOVE yesterday's closing price. Current bid is 14.00 with yesterday's close at 13.99. This usually means that there will be a strong opening to the upside. Provided that this bid holds into the opening then even if the first trade is a seller that does not exceed the available size, the stock will open higher than the previous close.
I was watching part of the ticker yesterday and the B/A and it seemed like there were very few sellers sticking their heads out at even though the bid kept fluctuating. In my head, that means little selling pressure. Its a very low floater, so I don't put too much credence into that. What happens to people who buy this week and the split? g
