I don't know, but would think, probably not. VF is a very conservative company, low debt, good cash flow. I believe what Mackey said in his last call, they would look at(actively or passively) companies to acquire that meet their criteria. Companies that can contribute to profitability simple through developing a disciplined approach to operating & merchandising management. Also companies that would benefit from the presence of scale.
What sort of comment would you like? We can't all be cheerleaders. I guess raising the dividend negates the layoffs in Martinsville and working the IS staff in Greensboro 24/7 on the SAP conversion, just to let them go when it completes, if ever?
