>>>Four Vice Presidents will receive annual cash bonuses as follows: H. Dean Fields, $26,527; L. R. Gragnani, Jr., $75,578; Earl D. Leake, $77,087; and Frank I. Lewis $120,979.<<<
H. Dean Fields is Vista; isn't he? Kinda looks like he is a stepchild to Lance when it comes to $$$$$
>>>Last week, they closed Mother's Cookies, just another branded label that fell.<<<
You need to get your facts straight...maybe, you have Nicole on your mind:)
>>>About 230 employees of Mother's Cookies found out Friday that their jobs were crumbling when company officials announced that baking and distribution now done in Oakland was being shifted to plants in Canada and Ohio.<<<
Lance's like to say re-orgranizing...
>>>"People were crying, people were in pain,'' said Gabriel Villarreal, 51, who has worked at Mother's Cookies for 25 years. He earns about $18 an hour plus benefits as a union baker.<<<
$18 per hour...how much are you making???? The other thing that I might add...UNION$$$$$
Get errr' done...
Lance's management...no union(s)...pay at a min...and the EPS is questionable at best...NOW, THAT'S GETTTT ERRRR' DONEEEEE...
>>>Before they all started crabbing, we made a nice bonus for too many hours, not enough recognition, and we all put up with employees that thought they actually had to behave themselves, like...don't sleep around because you are bored and it might get you somewhere.<<<
I like the way you imply that you are getting screwed by the CTC:)
Remember this, YOU will always be looked as the STEPCHILD to Lance...they will take credit($$$ Bonuses) for your good results and put pressure on you for BAD results...or, get rid of you???
>>>So, you were actually at Vista? Interesting.<<<
You may be surprised at where I have been...AND, surely where I could have been:))
The only Mother's cookies I know of is a major brand west of St Louis. This Mother's is too big for Vista as it is tied in with a major eastern brand. Maybe you meant Grandmothers?
Sunshine, I forgot to ask you where your head was when you were touring Vista. Vista is still a top private label Co. Last week, they closed Mother's Cookies, just another branded label that fell. Vista will not fall like that. I believe that David Singer knows what "value added" means. Do you?
Maybe you should make another plant tour. Vista is way ahead of Lance, Tom's etc. Before they all started crabbing, we made a nice bonus for too many hours, not enough recognition, and we all put up with employees that thought they actually had to behave themselves, like...don't sleep around because you are bored and it might get you somewhere. Or, better yet, just do it because it might make it that you won't have to do an honest days work for the salary you earn. What garbage. So, you were actually at Vista? Interesting.
>>>The rest of this post is garbage.<<<
What's the story on the guy that pulled his pickup up to the front door of Vista and put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger when Stroup was there?
I don't think it was for the cookies...at least the ones they make there??
>>>I am sure tommorow will bring something different.<<<
Help me out...Charlotte has the second most banking and investment money in this country besides NY. Lance is based in Charlotte...
Out of the top 15 to 20 institutional owners of this stock there are ONLY two from Charlotte and guess what both did last quarter? Sold off some shares...BANK OF AMERICA CORP... (8,137) and WACHOVIA CORP NEW ...(97,002)...
What does that tell you? You would think that just maybe the home town folks know a little more than other...
Some years ago FL built a plant close to the Lance plant to send a message...they are waiting for Singer and Co. to bring it on...
>>>You did not make a comparison. Your subjective comments are not close to reality.....today. I am sure tommorow will bring something different.<<<
Help me out then...the %'s come from the Lance, Inc. Presentation to Wachovia Securities Consumer Growth Conference. Do you think that I just dream this stuff?
What % of market share does Lance have in the salty Snack line?
