How many signs do we need to speculate with good reason about a Google purchase of Vringo? Sure, Vringo would love to go it alone for the future but money talks. Google is unlikely to want Vringo personnel to stick around after a purchase IMO (and a settlement would likely still leave too many loose strings for Google's liking) so Stout and the troupe can move on to something else. I doubt GOOG could do anything other than get some sort of agreement from the Vringo players that no litigation will be brought against them for a defined period of time or litigation that covers specific IT. From there the Vringo boys would be free to start another company. Happens every day.
