No. It will just mean those who are short will have to trying and buy back their position as quick as possible in an incredibly volatile upward trend. Everyone one is going to want a piece of the action.
i dont know why certain stocks halt and other ones dont after open market news i just know i was in ARNA and when the fda approval came out arna did halt for about an hour , then when it reopened it was already up 20% - 30% for about another hour then the AFTER NEWS SELLOFF STARTED as people were locking in profits im assuming this stock will react in a similar fashion if a mon or tues settlement news is released for about 500 million, i mean there asking for 750k and royalities so if a settlement is reached it would be for less than 750k i couldnt imagine them aceepting less than 500k i guess time will tell as it always does
sometimes when news comes out on a stock during the trading day , the stock gets halted meaning no more trades go through for a period of time, around an hour then the stock is open for trading again and typically it either is up or down 20% or more depending if the news is good or bad
their timing depends on if they think others will try to by out vrng if they wait. If i was google and i thought apple would be sueing me versus vrng it would definately get my attention. Bigger boyzz deeper pockets and rivals
