VRNG is getting set to trade like a Bio-Tech stock :
I'm not necessarily saying that is a good thing, considering I RARELY trade them , but that is the model I believe they are beginning to create here. WITH this GOOG win(eventually?) in the rear-view mirror and lots and lots of cash on hand to hire new hot-shot lawyers to help sift through solid patents that need good representation, I/P Protect will be trading like a Bio-Tech stock.
Every new patent purchased will be like a phase 1 drug , and then we will have phase 2 (litigation), and finally phase 3 (ruling) - I mean . . is there a better team of patent lawyers anywhere in the world ?; Especially after defeating GOOG, MSFT, ZTE (maybe )etc etc - - I think I would buy into that . Would you ? ..or is it GOOG profits (if any) and you're gone ? We can change the name officially to (I/P Protection Team) and the symbol to IPPT . Vringo could just be our R&D wing where Lang can play with his patents along with other victimized patent writers . . . . :)
VRNG will spike hard upon final verdict or a settlement. Afterwards will be a BIG press release which will garner momentum in the stock. This stock is going to POP soon! (Hope so, I need a new Cadillac and a vacation after the roller coaster ride/court proceedings!)
So we currently have (1) Stage 3 (drug/patent) expecting results soon (GOOG case), another stage 1 patent in the (ZTE case) awaiting a date for phase 2 trials to begin . . and now another Stage 1 (MSFT case) just getting rolled out . . =) . . I'm just having fun with the comparisons here, but I have been debating some traders about Vringo's ability as a solid long-term business, and the bio-tech model comes to mind as getting us to a much higher multiple after the GOOG trial . . any other patents i'm missing to monetize soon?
