matt, you are in the camp that says patent holders should not benefit from their inventions. Forget the fact that these patents cost thousands to millions of dollars and the holder should have the patent protection right to recoup the investment and earn a profit.
then matt, forget the fact that a patent exists because someone actually came up with a good enough idea that no one else had even thought of...but, you just want everyone to benefit. Do you want the drug companies to benefit from their patents or have drugs go straight to generic. Patent trolls are a fictional term made up by large companies that want to infringe for free. Does a company not have the right to develop a business model to incorporate their patents? Or, does the time benefit associated with the patent mean nothing? You, my kok holding friend are an imbecile. But:
now my question:
if you were smart enough to invent a device that actually held and coddled your kok for you, rather than you sitting all day and doing it by yourself...would you want to benefit from the royalties you could earn from all of the other imbeciles that sit all day and post on ymb's? Or, would you rather share the device in a circle of love and accept the joy juice in your face as a payment and give up the royalties?
great post carol. however, as far as inventing one, i went the opposite route, i married one but it broke after a couple years. defective product all of them, they look great in the store but no good for the long term :)
