looking at your handle looks like you got burned from cramer...............................do your own dd on stocks......................................if you buy JCP just buy some puts to protect youself, if your shorting just buy some calls to protect yourself, nobody really wants somebody to lose their money, unless they are truly demented...........................
Seeing how obumercare kicks in after the first of January (that's 1-1-2014), it would clearly take an imbecile to see how this could possibly effect holiday shopping, unless of course you are celebrating Christmas in July. And when you say "shopping dilemma" , since when has America had any trouble shopping? Absolutely, positively one of the most moronic threads I have every witnessed. And with three thumbs up= = = desperate shorts!!!
Yup, Obummer care is really screwing you if you're self-employed, or if you are part time employed with no current benefits but not too poor. My cost of living will increase 10% alone...I don't make a lot, but I don't make so little as to qualify for subsidies. If you have a pre-existing condition or are 26 and under and living off the parents plan you will benefit a lot though, but this is pure wealth distribution, right hand robbing from the left, it will hurt the fragile economy for sure. I'm in the process of moving to Mexico, I can get full excellent medical for $300/YEAR and they don't force me to buy it...vote with your feet, before they build a wall to keep Americans out of Mexico.
Wellllllll - when all is said and done, it will be ALMOST EVERYONE - - - virtually no policy, individually or company owned will be "grandfathered" - - - to bring everyone ALL THOSE bennies we didn't need before but do all of a sudden(sixty year old woman paying for maternity or birth control) - - - expect HUGE premium increases - - - this includes government(except Congress, etc) - self employed, etc. - - - - companies probably won't notice the increases until their groups come up for renewal, then KA-POW - - - most people can't think beyond a 140 character tweet and will be very surprised - - -
Ask yourself - - - if you have coverage now, let's say for a family of 4, and are currently covered through your group and pay for your family around 300 bucks a month - - - your new premium will be around 5-900 dollars a month - - - since most people live paycheck to paycheck - - - - you tell me how they are going to pay the increase, every penny is already spent before it's earned - - - - ----------------------------- but I'm sure their JCPenney purchases will not be affected at all
The average person who buys a private insurance policy stays on it for months not years. Yes months. They get raised rates every 6 months and switch or find a job with benefits. the customer satisfaction with those private substandard policies is very low. Under ACA you get solid insurance which wont bankrupt it if you have a big medical issue, at prices set to what you can afford. Sound like the right idea to me
The last time I paid $300 per month for a family, was in 1992. My own child has a pre-existing condition which I pay over $700 a month for. I am not eligible for any help next year, but premiums
for both of us are going to cost about the same as I pay for her policy alone. I am an Obama success story.
BTW, even persons like me can benefit from the exchange without government kickbacks. Me thinks republicans are grossly exaggerating costs. And lying about the great plans they have now. So far,
none of those who appeared on Fox News were honest, as a little fact-checking proved.
I really really enjoyed having my premiums hiked significantly every six months; and then being told
to die when I got sick. The old system is so much better than the certainty of a lifeline when you need it:)
I have no idea who would want to change the current health insurance laws because I enjoyed just sending money to those companies... with no expectation of getting anything of value in return.
another obama hater who has been short since merch 2009, dow at 6,000
Typical moron - - - check your dates - - - - the DOW didn't drop to 6000 until three months AFTER "O" took office(DOW 8500) !!!!! - - - - - - granted it does sound better than to say "O" gave the DOW a 30% haircut right after he took office - - - - -
another obama hater who has been short since merch 2009,
Soooo you've been able to get through the exchange(aka trainwreck)????
Before you answer "yes", so far most of the people who've been verified - - - - - - have gone directly to their states Medicaid program - - - - - - - -
