Ameriprise is changing over to a new website system and it is causing problems. Cash balances are not showing up correctly. You can log in a few minutes apart and a new balance appears, and later the old balance is back. Try to transfer money and you will see a different balance than the brokerage side at the brokerage transfer funds available. Calling the company to check the balance is necessary for your peace of mind. It is hard to trade as balances are not consistent with actual cash in the account. All this is very disturbing. The company needs more IT people and should fire the CEO for the way the system was implemented. The new system is going to be in place in August. The question I have is "will the customers still be in place?".
