Increased Sales this Quarter-Company could be turning itself around.
Statement of Mississippi Phosphates Corporation
RE: Fourth Quarter 2012 - DAP Production and Sales
PASCAGOULA, MISS. - Mississippi Phosphates Corporation produced and sold 179,014
tons of DAP in the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012 of which 93,516 tons were sold
into export markets and 85,498 tons were sold into domestic markets.
Mississippi Phosphates Corporation is a Delaware corporation with its executive
headquarters in Madison, Miss. Mississippi Phosphates Corporation owns and operates
manufacturing facilities in Pascagoula, Miss., which produce diammonium phosphate,
the most common form of phosphate fertilizer used as a source of phosphate on all major
cannon...it nice to see the increase in tonnage sold, perhaps the beginning of a trend. Problem is the price of DAP trended lower through the December quarter, and continued lower in January and Febuary. Still, the stock is very cheap, and when the price of DAP inevitably turns higher.....the share price of PHOS should rise dramatically...could shoot up to $5 in a very short time.
Yeah, I just waiting for earnings to come out to see what the avg price of DAP was and if they were able to report a profit at all. Definitely a speculative stock, but the current market cap under 10M is definitely extremely undervalued. It is almost pricing in another BK, which they don't have that much debt, so I am not too concerned there. I was/am a little concerned what impact the 2 deaths would have on the company. (nervous about potential lawsuits) Good to see the production increase significantly over last quarters terrible numbers. You are correct; if the price of DAP turns higher; this could be a profitable company. I have a few $ invested that are banking on this.
