Any insight? Mapp Pharma has an inhailed migraine med up for approval and currently partnered. Question: ALEXA Pharma has a similiar in phase (?) for migraines, are the inhailed properties the same or is one inhailed better than the other? Also, ALEXA Pharma has identified 200 compounds that can be converted to use "their" technology. Is this true for Mapp Pharma and their technology? Replys welcomed.
I have had some hesitations with ALXA's inhalant device. It's delivering drug(s) to deep lung, and no enough data to illustrate the safety concerns in general. That means: though 200 compounds being candidates, FDA will strictly scrutiny the safety aspects on many of them, particularly on the earlier few. The Black Box Warnings of the very first one really set up a wary beginning.
