Take a look at all the form 4's filed today. It is totally disgusting how these public companies think nothing of taking so many shares from investors and institutional investors are so willing to let it happen. Many complain about insider sales, that doesn't bother me, it is the insider taking of shares and diluting our ownership that disgusts me more. While I still think I will make a lot of money from my investment in IMGN, having more than doubled my investment so far, it is disgusting to see so many options granted to management who is already very well compensated with cash. One day I hope the institutions wake up and stop the theft that is ongoing on such a grand scale across wall street. I have no problem compensating individuals well, but option and stock grants are not the way to do it. It is a compensation experiment that has gone terribly wrong IMO.
Junuis got far to many options. The Bus Dev guy did no Bus Dev last year that I am aware of, so why did he get options? Charlie has only been with the company a few months and received an options package when he started working at IMGN??? I would have given Lambert many more options than any of the other executives, he is the only IMGN exec that is making a difference and was under-compensated IMO.
I emailed the Chairman about option grants in advance, but apparently he did not read and listen. I'm glad the strike price was $19 and not $15-16, but that was thanks to ONXX-AMGN and Roche-ALXN rumors, not anything Junius, or Perry did. O'Leary was absent from the list. Maybe (speculating) instead of firing him for the 901 debacle, they just took his free options away, which is better than nothing, there needs to be consequences for mistakes. Or, maybe he will get some tomorrow.
bioimmunomabman, O'Leary received 80,000 options on top of the fact that he also sold 35,000 shares at 19.01. Not sure why you thought he didn't get any? Go to IMGN's website, click on investor information, then SEC filings and you will see all the 4's filed and o'leary shows up twice, once for the option give away and once for the sale. Same with good ole Dan and a few others
