Seemed like someone was trading with my money and forgot to execute sell orders i put in well below ask price. Happens all the time. Looks like they still use archaic 1998 trading platform. Account CLOSED.
If other brokers could execute my orders within reasonable amount of time, i dont see why Ameritrade could not. Too much hanky panky for me.

    • same done here. But it was easy to buy the shares when it was falling, but when i tried to sell even below the bid, Ameritrade didn't execute the trades. So this is another way the big boys screw us -they probably screwed people like us out of $100 million in the profit distribution

    • no that means you tried to unload about 70,000 shares ? right? those are big blocks and take time. what are you thinking? or was it about 380 dollars you lost. please do not lie because I also see the large blocks you are not one of them.

    • Ameritrade did the same thing to me, I had 5000 shares of FNMA with sell market order. they went .5 lower than my market sale price and still did not sell it, so I cancelled the order. Now I am left with the 5000 shares that I bought close to $ 5.

    • ETrade did the same to me. Although not as much as Ameritrade cost you. I set sell order well below bid price, several times on this stock yesterday, and each time, they wouldn't execute. Had to keep changing my order, each time dropping my ask price even lower. Finally was filled, but only after losing $10,000. Still made money, but could've made double.
