HOFT was recommanded by motley fools. Well, Is this hidden gem or hidden crap? We will see. I often read mortley fool write contradicting stories with same company. I read one article that "Not to follow wallstreet analysts" and the other article said "Analyst are often more right than wrong" which was both written by mortley fool writers. Hum, which one do they really mean? Aren't they analyst themselves? I am trying to find those articles on the web again which I read this month and the last month. If I can find both of them. I'll post here again. Tough time.
Motley Fool has different writers with different opinions, as you can see from the formal debates they sometimes have. Similarly, Wall Street analysts often (even usually) contradict each other in their recommendations. That's what makes horse races.
Ultimately, you have to decided what you believe. If you want to put your blind faith in someone else to pick your stocks for you, it's ultimately much easier to buy a mutual fund.
As far as HOFT, at this price it look undervalued by pretty much any measure.
