    • That is very true.....Which means , ACTU has to show top line growth , very soon...I agree...I just hope Pete is setting the stage when he keeps talking about when we double our size , on the CCalls........

    • That is what is missing, if they could grow revenues 10% to 20% a year then they have a story. They have had no grow in the past five years and it has been negative when you take out the acquisitions that haven't paid off.

Pete and the CFO aren't getting any younger. I would think very soon they would sell and go enjoy life.

    • AKA...I here ya , but , $15.00 or so is realistic to them .....IMHO....about 3 years ago , I thought ACTU would one day be a $30 -50 dollars stock....Well, I missed that by a long shot....
Question is , How do we value future growth on BIRT etc....How do we value Pete's way of New Revenue stream going forward into a sale today??? IMHO....

    • Bimm...I often thought , that Priv EQ would buy us for $15.00 or so , but , I also thought that a bigger player would not let them have it that cheap....
& I do believe $15.00 or so to buy ACTU is dam cheap , compared to what the value would be , after figuring out how much money could be made from 750 thou developer out of 5 million down loads in Eclipse...
All I know is Petes story for revenue growth , is what will establish the value going forward to a buyer of ACTU....& Pete's story is big....& now they are winning law suites so the ego price goes up.....IMHO....

    • Hi Richard:

It is a good article, but the challenge for Actuate is mobile BI is a requirement for all the companies and all are doing it. It isn't a differentiator, but a requirement to be in the game.

I hope smart heads prevail at Actuate and they move the company soon before it is too late.

      • I agree on your post...
Another point for mobile , is it takes away from the Desk top, which may have some people worried....Worried enough , to merger
....Even my self....All Mobile...& if OS BIRT / Eclipse , becomes a new revenue stream , then , someone like a HPQ , may need to consolidate , just like EDS did with HPQ....Just a guess....
It is neat to watch ACTU come up with new ideas...I like the Xenos & the blind idea alot...That will get ACTU's foot in a lot of big boys doors & enhance the relationship , then , ACTU has to flipem , in the better benefits to the ACTU Platform....IMHO...
