Amazon just sent me a e-mail saying I owe the government taxes for the things I bought in 2012. This seems very inconvenient as I buy a lot of stuff from them if I was supposed to pay taxes shouldn't they have charged them to me at the time of purchase? Now they have all accrued and could be a substantial amount of money as we buy a lot of electronics as well as food and dietary supplement items from them. I've been buying from them for over 10 years and this has never happened.. Will they start charging tax on their website or will they keep with this accruing tax system?
Could this not be the straw that breaks the camels back? When a stock skyrockets with falling earnings you begin to wonder what it will take..
"Could this not be the straw that breaks the camels back? When a stock skyrockets with falling earnings you begin to wonder what it will take.." no, but nice try. Nothing is gonna stop this upside, certaily not you bogus email that means nothing.
Bogus e-mail as you think it didn't happen? Google search Amazon tax e-mail, it pulls up an article about people in South Carolina getting those e-mails, but I live in TN. I wonder how many other States are getting sent those e-mails? This could cause speculation about a decrease in sales, which could potentially cause the stock to find a medium to long term top in my opinion, as news of this spreads. Anyway, I'm going to buy some PUTS and roll the dice on a disappointing earnings next week.
If amzn sent sybs a bill for back taxez then sybs would ignore it.... Amzns taxez are amzns problems... Sybil only pays taxez to an authorized taxing authority, or in retailat the time of sale.... Else all salez are final... Ignore any amzn tax bill - Its that simple. They cant make you pay again, you already are in posession of the sheit you bought. Its their problem
