I'm going to take the weekend to think about what happened today and probably decide to exit this thing. I don't need this kind of capricious price action, especially when the stock gives up more than a buck from its intraday high in a matter of minutes. Why? Cuz some fat fingered MBA hedge fund guy pressed the sell button.
Sorry, but if I'm looking for that kind of action I can bet on some football games this Sunday. This is supposed to be investing
My feeling is that it IS investing....and part of investing is ignoring daily abberrations, and I think that's what this was. I don't think it's a plot or an "orchestrated short raid", I think it's simply that someone held a large position, had seen the stock do exceedingly well in the last 12 months, and decided to cash out or find a new pasture. It happens.
