Why all the weakness in LINE and LNCO? I don't think it's selling over worry about the vote on Monday. It has to be something more fundamental. Perhaps funds are liquidating LNCO shares since there will be a lot more of them in the marketplace after the merger. GLTA
Broad sell off across the board. 10 year almost @ 2.90. S&P up almost 25% this year. Taking profits off the board is how I see it. Why shouldn't investors take some money off , we all earned the profits this year.
Remember when LNCO had a premium over the price of LINE? It got over $4 at one point. That's totally reversed and right now LNCO is selling at a discount to LINE. It makes no sense logically when you consider LNCO's assets. I think more and more it has to do with the vastly larger number of LNCO shares that are going to be out there in the marketplace after the merger and simple supply/demand economics say that the mutual funds, etc. that held BRY are getting rid of LNCO shares so they're not overloaded in their funds. Just a thought. GLTA
Well everyone has been saying the fed needs to step out. So with the talk of tapering around the corner. People will get a market that will pull back. Plus as I said S&P up 25% this year. If you are smart you would take some cash off the table. You probably won't see LINE or LNCO move till the deal is done, Only 4 more days and you will have your answer.
