I've watched it for awhile and after looking at the charts, it seems to be more stable than LINE, LNCO, etc. II know it has a lessor monthly payout (8.5% roughly), but the share price stays around 30 without the constant drama with some of these. Any thoughts?
VNR is fairly priced. Oh, there could be some yield compression, like down closer to 8%, where it probably belongs, but it's close. BBEP on the other hand is priced to yield almost 10% and that's too high. Granted, they have a checkered past, whereas VNR has always been the model, but BBEP is very well set up going forward, and I think it's currently stronger than VNR. BBEP has focused on getting more oily, while VNR is chasing gas, and while VNR will do fine even if gas just stays stuck in this range, I like oil for the next five years. BBEP also has 2,000 gas drilling locations they're just sitting on right now, so it's not like they would be closed out if gas took off.
