Cars are assebled here both American and forgiegn, parts are from all over the world. Some of the American cars are assembled in Canada and Mexico. It is very difficult to define an American product.
Just heard on CNN, the federal gov't in March spent 8 times the amount of tax it took in. No gov't, no business, no home can operate very long like this with out going BK.
Many of our liberal/progressive/socialists officials are nuts.

And yet on 30 Mar 11 Gm announced a $30 million investment in the Pontiac Stamping plant.
And that's only the tip of the old iceberg from the last year.
People are just ignorant to the facts that what happens to Japan, and/or Toyota is not good for US auto manufacturing, period.
Experts have been warning us for years things that could happen say if TM went out of business, which won't happen any time soon, but if it did. They also warned about what could happen if something like this happened to Japan.
We are now going to live it.
