"what is your point?"
You made my point. It is a non event. It is boring that you are crowing over 50 VOLTS tasked to assemble one place, as if it was some sort of a show of force. BFD. So they had 50 VOLTS in Detroit.
It IS boring that you thought it was worth talking about.
Factory is rght there and they still had to beg borrow and steal from 12 states.
Like I said, BFD.
Spontaneously? No....just like in Marysville, Ohio when Honda takes over the town once a year....that's not spontaneous either...it was organized...what is your point?
You are getting very boring
"Sure I just seen two different ones on I-75. MAllen you have to get out of the house."
Of course you did. Those two were the Ohio contingent, returning home!
CHEVROLET is the Sponsor for the event.
50 VOLTS were gathered from 12 states. NOT just Michigan.
It is a promotion for Chevrolet. Like I said, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG with that.
Simply it is not what YOU thought it was.
There are far more VOLTS in California than there are in Michigan and probably the other 11 states combined. You couldn't get 50 VOLTS in California in one of their Car Shows that would make Woodward Dream Cruise look like a gathering for the local car club.
50 of NOTHING ever shows up at these shows. As an avid collector and someone who has attended everything from Woodward to Hot August Nights, to Carlisle, to Daytona, to Cool April Nites, to Knotts Berry and Sebring and countless others I do understand the participation levels at these events. When we put together a Shelby Cobra Event, we would have a tough time getting 50 GT-40s to show up.
There are times it is better to let go of your silly argument and enjoy what has happened.
Good turn out for The VOLTS, whatever their motivation was and how they were incentivized. It exposes the car, and maybe even brings some additional and much needed attention to itself. Don't turn it into something it wasn't!
