Gee, Web, I'm pretty sure the new Silverado wasn't in the running for this award being as it isn't for sale yet. But, you already knew that, didn't you? I think maybe the time you spend on this board is beginning to cost you IQ points.
Oh, and if you actually meant the current Silverado, why would anyone with more than an eighth of an ounce of brains expect it to win Truck of the Year when an all new version is coming in seven months?
Is it the Toyota Drip Line. The so called Truck you never see be used as a Truck. GM out selling Toyota by almost 2 million in China
Meanwhile, General Motors (NYSE:GM) continued its momentum in November as sales jumped 9.7% helped by the Buick and the Cadillac brands. GM has so far sold a total of 2.59 million vehicles in 2012 and is the highest selling automaker in the country.
To consolidate its position at the top, GM is spending another $1 billion to build a third plant in the world’s biggest auto market. The plant will be functional in 2015 and will help the automaker achieve its target of producing 2 million vehicles in China by 2015. At the same time, it will also be launching a new Cadillac model each year through 2016.
Time to bring in the Jeyetranslator again. I don't even know what the old coot is yammering about.
PS Jeyedolt you're not seriously getting mixed up with the Honda Ridgeline are you? If you are, don't even admit it. It's too pathetic to even contemplate.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Few years ago when I was still in California, I remember mentioning the inroads Dodge was making. I did say in some California markets Dodge trucks were outselling Chevrolet and GMC combined. Same numb nuts laughed at the notion. They weren't kidding around. They were serious, and they are serious.
Chevrolet is no longer the darling of US.
Get used to it. Get over it. Don't like it? Build better cars and trucks and let the people decide with their pocket books.
