Lets review the facts available: They sold 1000 s of their new Stingray between $ 51995 and $ 75000 sight unseen . Their brand new stylish + powerful pickups are flying off the shelves. Their new economical Spark is the only Brand new Automatic , air conditioned vehicle with a 5 year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty available at $ 13995 and is sold before its unloaded at dealerships. Their popular Malibu is currently available nationwide as the most common sense lease @ $ 199 x 36 months with a total of $ 500 for qualified lease families . They will control the market with their 2015 extremely attractive larger SUVs that feature seats that fold flat into the floor and up to 30 mpg. Their Camaro or Cadillac CTS are readily seen at every stop light with young smart up and comers at the wheel. The all new Impala is a real head turner and one of the last available full size offerings. They are among the few manufacturers offering Cargo or 15 passenger vans. Most of their new vehicles offer life saving OnStar/ touch radios with Bluetooth / Satellite + Sirius with Pandora + Stitcher .
They were the first to re-start America after 911 by offering ZERO interest and still do to this day on most models. Their stock is currently poised to go nowhere but up . They have the competition on notice, so much so that toyoDUH has even stooped to requiring that their franchises stop carrying pre-owned GM products at their locations. Yes sir E Bob , The General is leading America to a winning battle !
It is easy to see the strategy behind the Camaro. What explains the 2014 CTS-V? Are there many
aging men out there dragging main street, racing away from stop lights and who also have $75K to
spend on a car? It will be interesting to see how it sells, but men who are into that sort of thing also
have a Harley in the garage. JMO.
" 5 year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty available at $ 13995" & "offering ZERO interest and still do" & "lease @ $ 199 x 36 months with a total of $ 500" & "They will control the market with their 2015 extremely attractive larger SUVs"
sounds profitable to me. how's that going to work for them going forward? let's face it they have to give this stuff away to survive in a crowded market.
i don't see much else that differentiates gm from the rest of the pack and gm seems to be really stretching to say "They were the first to re-start America after 911". yep and eight years later they were in a comma and on oxygen...
