United Continental execs, including CEO, bought $2.22M in shares, Barron's says On Aug. 9 and 10, six executives at United Continental (UAL) including the CEO, CFO and COO displayed confidence that the company is headed for a 'takeoff' and bought 123,100 shares of the airline for $2,226,815. Following the buying spree, each of the executives' holdings represents a stake of less than 1% of United Continental.
