Analog Devices is a maker of analog semiconductors used in temperature, pressure, and light sensors, and in the analog to digital conversion of voice. With a slew of emerging growth opportunities and attractive business dynamics, this is a fine pick for your Magic Formula portfolio.
I can't believe ADI is down so much of the past few days. With the growing push for automotive technology, smartphones, and accelerometers, I would think ADI will hit the 40s by year end. Maybe this isn't the season to buy tech, but I think ADI is low enough for me.
My thinking as well - though I'm certain you meant the $50's by year end.
Let's see; ADI just announced all-time record #'s, gave upside guidance with good visibility into the next few quarters(sweetened with stable/rising margins), is buying back stock, flush with cash, and raised the dividend.
A no-brainer STRONG BUY if there ever were such a thing, or in my case, ADD, at the sale price of $39.99!
PS: I think we go ex-div today...watch for late day buying.
