    Deutsche Bank Downgrade of SGMS

A Deutsche Bank analyst today downgraded SGMS from "hold" to "sell" and lowered his price target from $7 to $6/share. Brutal, but well-deserved, IMO.

In the meantime, sccmguy has stayed locked in with his $7/share valuation of SGMS since 2009 and has invested his $$$$$ elsewhere for profits.

SGMS closed today at $8.51/share, down $2.25 from last Thursday's $10.76 mini-peak after the WMS acquisition was announced, but still 30% above the new Deutsche Bank target!

SGMS still has three weeks until their Q4/EOY earnings release/cc. It's gonna be uglier than usual for SGMS this time around.

Sell 'em if you still got 'em!

    Rock on!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • Wll at least I have some backers and their outlook is as dismal as mine. The 7 buck call was based on the stock price before the IGT-OES takeover. I figured once that failed fair value would return once they factored out the euphoria over what might have been. Today they look worse than ever and we haven't much change except for a few aquisitions. Unfortunately rather than investing in talent(that means hijgh perfromance employees), they chose #$%$ companies or companies they couldn't integrate into their culture. Meaning that SGMS culture is reactive as it always has been, its not proactive as it should be. There's no time for development when your still developing legacy systems that should have been retired years ago. None of ALW's promises and visions have come to fruition, not one. Benefits from Server side? Show me. Benefits from China? show me. Benefits from privitization? show me. Its been a long time and still nothing for the shareholders. How many companies can survive under these conditions? not many.. My valuation today is more like 2 bucks.
If Deuche says 6 then I say 2. It amazes me that it hasn't broken 5(came close). The short ratio on this stock is 5 rather high and so I am not alone Good call SF. Rock on !!
