Fidelity Investment (FMR) is onto something that we're onto. They bought a bunch of shares too, late last year. About 1.5 million. They're a new institutional investor . they own 1.549 million shares, and increased to that by 1.062 million shares in Q4. That's a 217% increase in position size, and now represents about a 28.9 million dollar investment. So you wonder why this stock's gone from 10 to 18? They big boys are buying it along with you and me. Go to the NASDAQ website and read about all the institutional investors buying TRIB.
I agree with you totally because of the same conclusions.
I think something big might happen in the next 2 weeks ... such as buyout offer in the mid to high $20s, new FDA approval announcements or approvals in some countries like China, good increase in annual dividends, big sales orders, etc.
All ya have to do is to read the conference call transcription, as it explains all the approval timelines and plans. Nothing magical here. They lay it all out. This "liftoff" isn't because of an unknown "big" someting or other. It's because they laid out a plan that makes sense with products plan timelines, and regional expansion goals. They got asked hard questions by analysts, and provided cogent replies that made sense. Those same analysts represented to their clients that TRIB's plans make sense, so there are now multiple interested parties in buying shares. No rocket-science about any of that. A takeover is always an unknown... but that's not why we have a good week last week.
