They are a bunch of idiots, JMHO. "Golden Slacks" has been wrong more than once in the last few years. Traders should have bought in at the low $9 range, then sold as the DDC's pushed it back over $10 before ex-div date. Coursonc: What do you think, am I right, maybe??
Conceptually, It sounds regurgitative of some of the reasons I previously outlined, specifically number 4 and 5; http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_%28A_to_Z%29/Stocks_T/threadview?m=tm&bn=72417&tid=4570&mid=4572&tof=10&rt=2&frt=2&off=1 with number 5 only having worsened, and number 1 also having gone even higher. The comparison with FRO as a fundamental reason to short TNK is not specifically meritorious, is only a sector peer-peer relative valuation comparison and while its intangible merits may work somewhat when you have the ability to trade in and out of multiple individual equity's in an industry sector, such that you maintain long or short weighting percentage in that sector, but in the individual equity that still has the most likely chance of exhibiting the 'move' you are anticipating, based on the changing fundamentals. This tactic does not really work for we retail investors.
