Educational Video Conferencing, Inc. Expands its Telecommute to College Program to New Lockheed Martin Company;
Employees of Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems Are Given Access to Graduate and Undergraduate Degree Programs and Courses
YONKERS, N.Y., July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Educational Video Conferencing, Inc. (Nasdaq: EVCI; PCX, BSE: EVI) (``EVC''), a leading provider of quality, cost-effective and convenient education through interactive video conferencing, today announced that it has extended its Telecommute to College program to Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems (LMTAS), in accordance with the terms of the national agreement between Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT - news) and EVC.
Under the terms of the agreement, Educational Video Conferencing, Inc. and Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems will co-market the Telecommute to College program to the LMTAS employees. The Telecommute to College program course offerings will include graduate and undergraduate courses in engineering, management, marketing, economics, finance, accounting, computer science and human resources courses and degree programs.
To help its employees maintain state-of-the-art knowledge, Lockheed Martin will pay tuition for approved degree programs and courses, pursuant to its tuition reimbursement policy, offered under the Telecommute to College program. Courses are scheduled to begin in the 1999 fall semester at LMATS' Texas locations.
