I usually invest in gold miners but looking at FAZ charts compelled me to take a position. I can't believe the negative sentiment on this board regarding FAZ's near term direction. If the board actually represented pulic investor sentiment, then contrarian investors would be excited.
Probably everyone posting on this board believes the fundamentals for the financials are nothing short of dismal. But most negative posters have probably suffered recent losses and have have self-hypnotized themselves with the thought that the "trend" will rule. Sorry, in this environment things can turn on a dime. So many loose canons out there to fire away at U.S. banks.
Stay with the gold miners If I were you. FAZ will take your money and you'll regret it. I just don't think it's the time to get in on FAZ. We need a few consecutive major sell off in the stock market to give us an indication of some sort of a correction is coming. That hasn't happen yet, but when the time comes that is when to load up on FAZ.
One never knows Tatian. You may be right. Investing in FAZ has the same feel as sitting down to a Texas Holdem table in a Vegas casino. One's gambling skills may be overcome with bad luck, especially if you go "all in".
