    Medtronic going down in flames

If you had a choice about 5 years ago to buy bsx or mdt which would it have been. Going down in flames? What a rookie-don't quit your day job!

      • I agree gluteusmax.... is a bit over the top most of the time. His posts are very entertaining to read. We get more then our fair share of posts that are over the top to the negative side. so I think it all balances out nicely

        Keep posting Gluteus.

On this particular point however I think Gluteus is spot on. This is not the only stroy I have heard that Medtronic is having battery longevity problems.

This is a point that I believe is greatly under marketed by BSX. BSX does have superior battery technology over Medtronic. On the Cognis and Teligen platform the technology changed drastically from previous generation devices and is in the new line of devices also.

Hopefully this Medtronic safety alert will get some physician's thinking about longevity then there choice will become BSX if they are properly informed.
