Instead of having their bookmark for people to find their newspaper on Blackberries worldwide, the NY Times got $10 million worth of free advertising by having their name published in every US newscast.
I doubt that others will follow, the cost to have a bookmark app for a mobile device is fairly low, especially for an entity the size of the NYT.
