Research In Motion's Hiring Could Be A Precursor To faster BB10 delivery !!!

Ok, you're just reaching at straws. Any normal person knows that if you lose capable software developers and have to replace them with new ones, you're going to have to deal with their learning curve. The only losers at this company are at the top.

    • How do you know that RIM is losing developers ? May be that RIM is short of capable people to work on BB10 ? Remember , RIM has hired bankers to do the restructuring and they get rid of wrong people , it is as simple as that ,lol

"May be that RIM is short of capable people to work on BB10"

You just said it yourself! so now you have to ask, can they hire the needed people to get BB10 out there. And we are talking about hiring dozens of highly skilled, hard to find professionals. Software developers aren't just banging on the door to go to RIMM.

As far as how do I know they are replacing lost people. I don't, but in 99% of the cases in times when a company has a downsizing edict, they have a hiring freeze. IE they can only hire open positions from people who left.

But whether they are looking for new people or trying to replace old ones, their lack of success in hiring will lead to lack of success on BB10. What about those positions posted in June? They are still open? Uh oh!
