THOR says BB10 is a labtop killer.

I cannot say the failure of not being able to succeed in the tablet should be put on the shoulders of Thor. If BB10 fails, we should. Until then give him a break. After all the delays and hypes BB10 better be good. May be BB10 delay will help them make a better product that people will be impressed. There is no need to rush the product to the market if it is an inferior product. Making good products take time take time. Let us sure hope he has a good product in BB1o

    • A laptop killer? Thor needs to focus on convincing the general public WHY they should buy a BB10 device before dreaming about making the laptop obsolete. I think laptops / notebooks / ultrabooks will be around for a long time. In our household, we have an iPad, a PlayBook, laptops, and several Samsung phones. I've always wanted one device that can do it all, but it doesn't exist. Sure, there are apps that can help you run desktop apps on a tablet, but for the most part, tasks that are so easy to do (like typing & editing) on a laptop become quickly annoying and time-consuming on a tablet or phone.

Microsoft probably spent the equivalent of RIM's market cap on developing Surface - but once you buy a keyboard cover, and plug in a mouse - what do you have? A laptop.
