This is old news. All along this is what BBRY has been saying. They would release a premium device. Over time, they would release better and better devices. Eventually, that first phone they released on Feb 30 will be "entry level". At that point they will start phasing out OS7 phones. Yes, the OS7 phones are BBRYs entry level. Not good for US interests but 50% of the world loves them.
You're lucky. I made the buy then, not the sale. I think that BB should position itself as a premium phone - a luxury item, in the countries that can afford it. In the developing countries, it should still be a status symbol.
For those who are under the water because of these recent pullbacks, have faith. I still believe BB has a very good product and future. It could pop anytime, especially with the short squeeze.
Few weeks ago, I made a mistake at buying at $14.85, on the launch date, just right before it tanked for the next few days. Luckily, i bought some more @$13. It then went back up with 2 analysts upgrades, and helped me recoup my huge loss. Actually made some gains. It was a very risky move, but fortunately, it was a lucky move.
