Began Breaking Out Big Yesterday and Could Explode Today
CCUR was the 10th largest percentage gainer on the NASDAQ yesterday but this is just the beginning. Much bigger gains are likely coming in the days ahead. At $6.94 per share with only 8.72mm o/s, CCUR has a market cap of $60.52mm, with $24.6mm in cash, no debt, and an enterprise value of $35.92mm. CCUR is still not receiving any value for its multi-screen video delivery solutions business, which allows pay-TV subscribers to watch TV from any location on their tablets and smartphones!
Last week ERIC signed a deal to acquire MSFT's Mediaroom multi-screen video business for just under $200mm, which has a reach of 11mm pay-TV households. CCUR's MediaHawk mutli-screen video business already has deals signed with the largest pay-TV companies in the UK, Germany, and Japan - for a reach of 14.8mm pay-TV households.
CCUR paid $15mm to acquire Everstream, their media data intelligence (MDI) business, which tracks the viewing behavior of 35mm pay-TV subscribers. CCUR also owns a real-time ultra high performance computer processor business, which powers simulator devices used in the defense, aerospace, and automotive industries. CCUR's real-time business has 4 of the world's 5 largest defense contractors as clients and annualized revenue of $27.6mm. Just these two businesses are probably worth well more than CCUR's $35.92mm enterprise value!
CCUR's video business is receiving no value here at all! The multi-screen video market will be the hottest technology space on Wall Street this year and CCUR is set to capture a huge market share. CCUR already has a 30% video on demand (VOD) market share, with a VOD reach of 50mm households! The VOD market is still growing rapidly! It was announced this morning that consumers spent 40% more time watching free VOD content in 2012 compared to 2011. Almost no pay-TV companies are monetizing free VOD content, but CCUR's new patented VOD ad insertion technology will allow the industry to generate up to $1 billion in new revenue from VOD ads!
